Jubilee Street party outside Lees Library on Thomas St
Sunday, 3rd June from 12 noon until 3pm
The Big Lunch is a 'Bring & Share' event, so you are
invited to bring along some food for sharing.
Everyone is welcome and the event
will include a photographic competition in which there are 4 categories LOCAL
NATURE, PEOPLE, PLACES & JUBILEE. These will be judged in age groups 8-16
years and 17years and above. There will be a Homemade Cake competition and a
Children's Fancy Dress competition.
Oldham Brass Band (Lees) will be
entertaining us and also Ellie Knott our local talented flautist (1.30pm - 3pm). The local
shops in Lees will be trimming up and it should be a real party atmosphere.
